Hands-On Treatments
Osteopathic Manual Therapy
Back pain, neck pain, stiff joints and muscles, whether they are chronic or acute, can be treated through osteopathic manual therapy. You don't have to worry about side effects because the treatment is gentle and hands-on. It is also used to mobilize nerves, soft-tissue, and fascia.
Relief is attained faster than with most other therapies. At the end of treatment, muscles feel relaxed and calmed due to an increased circulation of oxygen in the bloodstream. Specific types of techniques used in osteopathic manual therapy, e.g. Soft tissue technique, Joint mobilization, Muscle energy technique (MET), Myofascial release, Strain- Counter-strain technique, or Cranial osteopathy, have little to no discomfort. Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a major part of traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for at least 3000 years.
It involves the use of needles to stimulate energy points in the body, and restore the movement of energy (Qi). Qi is often translated with “Energy”, but it is more than that. Qi is what differentiate life from death, it’s power, strengths, nutrition, mind, and emotions. Qi is distributed throughout the body in channels or meridians. If a disease occurs, the flow of Qi in the meridian is blocked. Insertion of fine needles in strategic points alongside the meridians resolve the blocking, and Qi can flow freely again. Acupuncture is helpful for many conditions
